The #1 Online Comunity for Airsoft Teams

Well this is my first time joining any type of airsoft type myspace set up :D But I really want to do something when My lady goes to medical school and I do not want to be just sitting around. I have finally found a passion for this airsoft stuff because now I have taken my gun apart and put it all back together. I really love my m14 but there are a lot of parts that could be improved including the trigger guard that is on the gun. I have to admit i did some really stupid things with the gun like trying to solder a point back on to the gun with... yes... a heat gun. it fried some of the plastic wear inside so I had to take it all apart and get the pieces i needed to solder off the gun and put it back on. I still need to replace the plastic that has melted but there are some good upgraded pieces to put in besides replaced plastic parts. I also ordered some upgrades including springs, scopes, and other things of that nature so I went back into the gun and took apart the mech box. It was really challenging but yet it was really really fun to do!. Every one i knew told me not to do this but i went against the grain. It is really simple design on the inside but i really liked working it in and together. It took me a better half to a whole day to figure out how to put it all together But it was simple once I got the hang of it. Now I know how to do it installing the springs and stuff should be easy. I believe if you own a gun of something of this nature you have to figure out how it ticks... I mean whats to say if you are out on a skirmish and your gun breaks down ... i would perfer to be that one out there that is like I know exactly what is going on ...give me a minute.. lol I got into this to get out of the house and do something and I believe it has.
