A hard decision to make
Its been a while since I was active in the Airsoft scene and even longer since I have played an active game. Its not for lack of wanting to play, Anyone who has known me, knows my heart and soul are very much into Airsoft.
The trouble with it is actually a one-two punch of sorts, My finances and my body.
As many of you know or don't know, I have a beautiful family consisting of my wife and my 3 year old son. They are both my life and soul and I love them both very, very much. Lately my commitment to them has taken me away from airsoft and I do not see myself going back anytime soon. Family will always come first and right now my commitment to them far outweighs my need to airsoft.
Second, My body:
As much as I love airsoft and the thrill of playing and running and gunning, the truth is that my body can not keep up with the younger people I play against. My last game made me realize that I was at the end of my airsoft career. I nursed a busted knee for over 3 weeks, at one point the pain was so bad that I could not walk, but forced myself to.
As much as I love the game and the thrill of playing, I know that I can not keep up and feel that it is time to walk away from the sport after many years of loving the game.
Therefore effectively immediately, I am retiring from the sport of Airsoft and turning all facets and control of Venom to my second in command, Blitz
I cherish my time in the sport and all the friends I have made and will keep in touch with each and everyone of you.

Good Luck in what the future holds for you, and you know you never "retire" from Airsoft. You'll be able to pick it up again any time.
