Last night a bunch of members of our team and our neighboring team Wolf Recon went to dinner and a movie. We saw 10,000 BC- I thought it was pretty good but it was your traditional happy ending with no surprise which some of the guys thought was a letdown. It was also not super violent like in the previews.
We're still talking about practice last week- if you haven't seen the pictures you should check them out. The field was covered in snow up to my thighs. It was the most brutal practice we've ever had, running in that much snow is just not possible. It was still a lot of fun though, and I think tactically it was a decent practice. It helped some of the new guys on our team learn how to find good cover quickly, and stay there. It was tough because if you moved anywhere it took you a long time and a lot of energy to get there and you had to be very precise with your movements. Wisconsin is still covered in snow and it just keeps getting colder, so this week we'll have a meeting instead of practice and hopefully by the 16th it will have warmed up a bit.
I'm getting involved in the planning and marketing for this years annual Wisconsin Airsoft Expo. It's going to be help in Waukesha at the expo center so if anyone is close by you should check it out. It's scheduled for August 3rd- more updates to come! Here's a few pics from last year's expo:
