So I am very excited by the new gun that I got. I managed to paint it with the tan color that they normally charge another 130 or more for and I think it came out really nice. The only problem that I had was the paint was so thick at one point I could not retract the stock. So I used my dremel or rotor tool to smooth it out and it turned out really sweeeeeeeeet. So I went ahead and tested the red dot scope. It was really windy and not as calm as it is today so I am really debating on shooting again today. The scopes optics are really not all that hard its just that I do not have a spotter or binoculars to see where my shots are going. I managed to see in the begining of the firing test to try and screw around with the Hopup system and managed to fix a wicked banana curve to the BB. So I was working on my m14 and I get down to the hopup system that is connected to the barrel. Last time I worked on it I dropped the barrel and it broke some how so this time when I took the thing off from my bone yard gun I was cautious. I went to Mechbox.com and it showed how to take the retarded clip off that clips to each side of the barrel and they show them yanking the damn thing off with a pair of pliers! Well this is my first time joining any type of airsoft type myspace set up :D But I really want to do something when My lady goes to medical school and I do not want to be just sitting around.
