Just finished school for the time being (going back in fall) and experimenting with modifications/upgrades. Now I'm at 400 FPS with my main blaster! :-)
I've been taking a break from extreme sports and shooting for a bit though. Family business is always more important. Come July I will return triumphantly.
Hey King, sorry I've not been around lately, I've been working on getting my group started up. Also, I must state that I have a few new photos of my crew on
True that...popular support is greatly necessary for a war to go well. I forgot to mention in 'Nam that the Communists had a lot of popular support. Yeah, popular support the enemy had did make it difficult...and US issues at home didn't help the effort any.
With a hired army, it's easier for them to lose the will to fight...with a group of guerrillas/ultranationalists/religious fanatics, you most likely gotta kill 'em all, or else you'll never win. So individual motivation plays big into it too.
Of course, since this is such an ass-backwards place, it's not going to be easy to get people in on this stuff.
But at least the core three are ready to do some serious guerilla warfare type stuff against other larger groups.
Sun Tzu mentioned in the Art of War that larger forces may be stronger, but smaller forces cannot be found as easily and can outmaneuver a large one. Why do you think we had so much trouble in Vietnam?
I wish I could get a recruitment pool that size. Not like it's necessary, but I would like to be able to confirm anywhere from a sinister 6 to a dirty dozen. LOL
I'm sure other people will want their own sister units and do their own thing as well. But yeah, I got a decent following in my town.
300 is a lot to manage though...you should take them up against my 12 when we are all ready. :-D
Cool...it seems you trimmed it down to a more manageable number.
I'm working on getting a few borrowers for others to try out airsoft. Still have 3 plus 7-8 and yet more who might.
Considering a few of these. I might change out the stock for wood and get a new mag, but that's because I like the old AKs best... :-)
My site is listed on my page, too...check it out and let me know what you think!
Also, anyone who gets 2 or more in can form his/her own squad within the Wasteland Warriors. (3-10 people in a squad) Sub-groups make it fun, and management easier for me.
Dude how's it been? Haven't heard from you in a few days.
Well, recruitment seems to be going OK for me. Got like 3 in the core, and about 7-10 interested. Not sure if all or any want to follow through, I'd be pretty happy with 6-12 regulars, and a number of guests and/or "militia."
If you want to get serious about an airsoft group you should set up a website for yourself...I might get a domain name for mine as well. That way people will be able to keep track of upcoming games and events as well as be able to communicate with you and other team members. The 110mb.com host is what I use.
Have you seen my site yet? It's not done yet but it's functional.
Hmmm...for $5 you could get a training flashbang. Get a few.

You use cap-gun caps in it and it makes a loud pop, maybe it doesn't blind you but hey, this isn't real combat.
If you want the real thing, you're in the wrong place. LOL But still, it's enough to confuse and disorient the enemy. I don't do much CQB at the moment, but I think it would be useful even in a group like mine with a renegade/axis/militant theme to it...ever play Command and Conquer? Believe it or not, the Brotherhood of Nod from that series of games was quite an influence on the creation of this group.
Now only if I can secure an RPG-7. Those things can takeout just about any vehicle. Even if it is just for looks I would still like one. ;-)
Oh, and if you want to spend $114 or so, here's another one:

If you buy one, let me know how these flashbangs are! I might get some myself.

So what do you do nowadays?
Right now my buddies are doing nothing but sitting around watching anime and playing crappy video games.
Some weird things going on, personal life a mess, and other stuff.
Sorry I've not been here either.

Not everyone yet, but it's good enough for now.
