Airsoft, the wrong mentality?

So i'm cruising around the net. reading all my regular Airsoft sites/forums and I'm starting to see a scary trend.

Paintball.. now your saying "Huh?" Let me explain, before I started airsoft I was a huge Milsim Paintballer. I spent mass amount of money and time perfecting my game only to find I never could compete with a guy who had an Autococker, E-trigger and could spray paint down range at over 20 BPS. More and more players of the sport of Paintball where going that route. Dropping the menta… Continue

A&K M249 SAW MKII Field Performance review.

Alright, today we had our skirmish in Casper. An excellent turn out. Great area to skirmish in.

I used my M249 All day. The Terrain was extremely wet and lush underbrush thickets and tree's. Slightly hilly with ravines running through the area.

First off I highly recommend getting a good fitting sling for your SAW. I made my own and love it. Sits just right and works like a charm. One of the other guys had the MkI and kept commenting on how much he wished he had a Sling on his SAW.

Battery li… Continue

About Me.

Corporal 0311 USMC, Honorable Discharge Twice, 1998 - 2003. Got into Airsoft after playing semi-pro woods scenario paintball with the Maryland KnightStalkers, when I moved to Wyoming, No paintball but the Police Department was utilizing Airsoft as a training tool. I went from there. Hooked almost all my fellow Cadre on Airsoft and we started the Death Dealers as a stress reliever/team building during our down times between class cycles and when ever time allows us to play.

There has been a recent discussion about free speech and conduct. It is still simple as it has ever been. Not any one of you likes to be insulted or talked bad about, don't do to others what you do not want done to you. Conducting yourselves as Gentlemen and Ladies is not a old past behavior it is a fact of daily live. If you want this hobby to prosper and expand then it is everyone's responsibility to conduct themselves with honesty and honor. No one has ever been dispised and hated for courtesy. Yes it is not always easy but think of our hobby, many want to shut it down, profanity, hate, and other such acts attack our hobby and give outsiders ammunition with which to bring down airsofting. Education, courtesy, raising money for worthy causes and general good conduct enhances or standing. Acting as brutes, uneducated louts, and discourteous slobs, will only lead to the distruction of what so many of us love. Please think before you write, vulgarity is not cool, its just bad taste.
