Will a Nineball Power spring for a TM M18C work in a DEM84? (AEP)

Does anyone know if Nine ball's power spring designed for the marui M18C will work for a Double Eagle M84 (M9)?

Judging from the cutaway picture that is on both of the boxes it looks like the gearboxes are dang similar. The switching mechanism looks different but I think that is all electrical.

Also if anyone has made this upgrade before on any AEP, I was wondering how fast it makes the gun shoot and how much it slows the gun down RPM wise.

Thanks.

Typically when you upgrade a spring in any system if its a heavier spring then the system already has it slows down the rate of fire and RPM's due to the gear's and motor having to work harder to push the spring.

You should be able to change out the spring in an AEP but you really need to be careful when doing so if the spring is to heavy it can burn your motor out really quickly, that or put to much stress on the gear box itself causing it to break.

I'd contact a certified repair upgrade location before even attempting it.

ok well I know all that....

My question is does the spring physically fit. I have upgraded my M14 myself.

The spring will probably fit in the gearbox, but you might have to do modification to the spring guide (filing).
