Camera's in Airsoft?

I know quiet a few teams have team cameramen/women, and its a very good idea to get good pictures of your team in game and out.
Things to remember is pictures are hard print of your activity. you take pictures of your team doing things they shouldnt its going to be seen by all and alot of people will think thats what you and your team do all the time.
Gun Cams are a great way to get good Action shots, problem is they are often very very expensive. There are a few out there that are in a decent price range but their performance isnt up to pair to those that are of a higher price.
Over all having a camera on the field is a great idea. Just remember to play safe and play smart.

It depends on the camera person largely. If they stay out of the way and get good footage or shots then I will welcome them. If you haven't watched anything from scoutthedoggie on youtube then you should he is an amazing airsoft filmer who gets great footage. But I have seen some bad camera people. At one skirmish I went to there was a cameraman who dressed in all his gear then started filming. The problem was he would get in the way and get hit. Then he would yell at us even though he stepped into our shots. Then he would wait behind corners and bushes and when you darted around a corner saw a man in all his gear pointing something at you it is instinct to shoot. I only hit him once when he walked into my full auto fire.

having camera's in airsoft is a good thing, the footage can be used as a recruiting tool to help your team grow. yes there are some downfalls with having someone out there filming such as mistakenly shooting them or when the lens is on you your position is exposed. These are just things that have to be accepted by everyone involved. Having a cameraman involved makes things tougher, you just have to be better for it. Something that i would really like to see out on the field someday are gun cameras or helmet cameras. from these angles there would be a new level of excitement and intensity for everyone watching the video.

sence everyone is taking about the gun cams i dont really like watching the gun cam vids on youtube because it is really annoying how the camera is shaking when they run but i think they are great when you cut all that out
