I've never used one. I have heard (only speculation) that CO2 guns have gas-leakage problems.

If you live in a place like Kansas, where half of the year is too cold for green gas, then CO2 would be an ok alternative, but I would go with an electric MP7, MP5 PDW or a similar short-barreled rifle.

Sorry I couldn't better answer your question, and I hope somebody with experience in that area can better help you out.

ok well the best uzi out there is the kwa mac 11. Superb range and its rate of fire is truly amazing it depends on the usage of the gun. Its not for woods its a beast at close quarters. IT is gas so as the other person says not good in COLD. Only 130$ best uzi/Mac10/mac11 around. Better than TM(which Sucks)

its all up to really how you use your ammo.....the uzis i have seen at the games, are never skirmished because they dump like 60 rds in 2 seconds.....but if your not one with an itchy trigger finger, cqb would be a great opportunity to use a little beast like that.....i am with the others tho....just go with an mp7/mp5k.....electric is the way to go....just me tho

I used to own a mac 11, not a bad sidearm... Very nice wow factor, and to tell you the truth, I would not wanna be in front of the business end of one in a CQB environment! HA

Awesome rate of fire, but very limited on rounds...

Very nice gun, I would recommend you gettin it... But later, I would recommend extra mags, because once you squeeze that trigger, its hard to let go!

Well I am new to airsoft so my opinion is not quite as valad as all these other guy's. However if you are running around with a sniper rifle or a long gun like a M14 you are going to have trouble using that in close quarters. Realizing this I bought a KWA Mac-11 because I saw you can also get a leg holster for it.

Let me tell you, it really has a killer rate of fire. Yes it's magazine only has 42 rounds and it shoots 20 rounds per second. Thus, you have 2.1 seconds of firing time (on auto). But if you don't hit anything in that massive spray of rounds you put out you deserve to get hit.

The main thing is you HAVE to buy an extra magazine or two and they are pricy, so you have to factor that into your decision. The magazines take too long to load in the field

We have had a lot of great response from customers on the uzi. We have sold over 50 of them and haven't had a return yet. Do a search on google and read some of the reviews out there. I think you will be surprised.

I don't know if the wow factor is the best one to go after. Yes there is a psychological advantage to having a huge pistol or a loud, fast machine pistol, but in the end how effective are you? I have a WE 1911 gas blowback. It's accuracy and FPS are more than good enough, plus it's easy to draw and not terribly wieldy. Also consider that an UZI or MAC 11 is really only necessary if you're rolling as a sniper that has semi-auto only or bolt-action. (good to have something full-auto)

And really if you're sniping and have to resort to your side arm, it's because you've been spotted. You aren't much use as a sniper if they know where you are so you'd just need to cover your retreat to a new position. A Mac or Uzi's ability to lay down 40+ rounds in 2 seconds is all you need to cause enough panic to get out of Dodge and into a new spot.
