I held one of these at our local store and couldn't stop drooling. Anyone have any advice on these or does anyone know anyone else that would be selling this rifle. I really want the silenced model but can deal with the red dot scope. :)

I personally have never had one I do think they look great. Espically if your a Stargate fan. But from the 3 people I know they swear its the best there is light and verstible. Only complaint I hear from them its not a great long shooter, deffently a monster to have for cqc.

Yes if you do a lot of close quarters stuff you can't go wrong. You may want to upgrade the speed from 280ish to mid 300s and probably the barrel length (use a silencer to cover up extended barrel). Then you'll have a decent all-around airsoft gun, whether your inside or enjoying the great outdoors.

I would personally recommend the TM (or JG) Styer AUG. I have owned four guns and played with many more and the AUG still holds a special place in my heart. (cuz they're awesome)

AUG = M16 length barrel, M4 overall length - and semi auto is not a switch but a pressure sensitive trigger (saweet)

Do you have a picture of it? Maybe I can help. Where are you located?

yeah let me get a link up:

there you go.

My location is southwest virginia/east tennessee. The gun retails here in our local store for about $270.00 without a battery or charger. There is a new Classic Army Sportline P90 coming out within a few months and I don't know if it's worth the wait or not.

Alright, the TM P90.... Tell ya what,.... In some circles this rifle is the laughing stock... BUT, I have seen some P90s that look and shoot incredible...

My opinion... I LOVE CQB... Its what I personally breath and bleed... This is why I use the Classic Army CQB SEAL... Love the little guy... Very versitile in close quarters... Its just that I dont see the P90 being so practical, unless you have it slung, or on a drop holster, and a AK or M4 as your primary...

Long story short, I wouldnt recommend to my guys to purchase the TM, unless they already had a sidearm, and a primary rifle... Plus, TMs out of the factory are really low on FPS...

Thats my two cents...

In my experience, whatever you order is probably going to need upgrades. Yeah, Marui comes shooting about 280, but it also comes with a nearly indestructible gearbox. If I bought a Classic Army over a Marui I'd still upgrade it to 370+ fps.

Maybe, but with upgrades comes failed parts. Alot of our fellow airsofters cant afford to be buying gears, pistons, etc, every time their gun breaks... We've had pretty bad luck with TM gearboxes...

The P90 is special though...

Although I run a CA, you can't deny the Echos...

Tell you what, I have a built CA, and some of the Echos on the team have outlasted my gear... Believe it or not...

But, then again you are also paying for build quality... I personally dont like plastic bodies...

Never but the TM TR p90 blows so hard. I Bought it first day it broke only shot one shot and it blew a fuse! Not the greatest range. Sucky rate of fire . Returned the gun got a CA M15A1 Vietnam Style. Thats what up!

I own the TR-P90 and I will never get anything else ever again. It is so small that cqc is no longer a problem at all. Ambushes also become incredibly easy because you don't have to move your HUGE rifle into a firing position. I upgraded mine with a tightbore barrel and upped the fps to about 375 and this little rifle works great long range now. The one complaint I will have that will bother you to no end if you buy this gun, is the magazines. The stds work beautifully, but are huge. Either get custom gear or some leg mag holders (I swear my those). www.thevestguy.com has some good P-90 gear that, while being a bit more expensive, is high quality and if fitted correctly, kick ass. Do not listen to the unbelievers who doubt the P-90. Buy one and never buy another rifle again.
