The year is 1997 and the CIA has uncovered new information about the prominent drug smuggling terrorist faction in Haiti, Les Locustes Noires. When president Clinton confronted the UN they declined to send any sort of support. When president Clinton approached Congress about the mission, they were reluctant at first but when it was brought to their attention that by destroying Les Locustes Noires, That would almost stop all the cocaine being smuggled into the country, Congress agreed to fund the mission.
President Clinton told his secretary of defense, William J. Perry and he handed over the operation to the military. Mr. Perry quickly assembled a Joint task force of US Army Rangers and US Marines to take care of the problem. The task Force's Mission was to eliminate the factions Leader, Alexi Balishinikov, A former Russian Spetznaz officer, to Destroy all the processed drugs that Les Locustes Noires had, And to terminate any resistance.
When the Les Locustes Noires leader heard of the upcoming US intervention, Alexi quickly scrambled his men to transport him through the jungle to his private air strip, where he intends to take a helicopter to El Salvador where he can bunk down in his safe house. Before he left he ordered one last shipment of everything he had to be sent to the US, so when the soldiers came they would return empty handed. He hid all documents of this final shipment in the surrounding Jungle.
When the Task Force Arrived they find out useful information of where The terrorists will be transporting their leader by the local villagers, who join in on the fight because they are tired of living in fear of the faction, and they set an ambush. When they were setting up their ambush they launched a UAV to determine when they would arrive. They hid the control station in the jungle. When the UAV operators where setting up their outpost, they stumbled upon a notbook that contained a map and a set of coordinates. When they told their commander he assumed that it must reveal the location of the shipment and that once the first contact was made and the primary target was eliminated, they would pursue the the shipment.
